By the Metropolitan Municipality of Eskisehir, Türkiye. It is an Art and Cultural festival on a grand scale from 2 to 6 September 2026
There will be visual artists, painters, sculptors, designers, performing artists, musicians, singers, dancers, theatre artists and designers from all parts of the world. A global-level celebration to promote the Türkiye spirit of friendship through art and culture.
Painters from over 10 countries are specially invited to be ambassadors of their country. Normally from each country there are 1 or 2 artists, but Türkiye has, specially invited this time, a team of women artists from India. Ritu Singh has been an invited artist to several symposiums in Türkiye for the past few years. The recent shows and progress of Quartz Collective, a group of women artists, have been prominently making a mark on the Indian art scene. The Quartz collective will be carving history by being the first women artists’ group to represent India on such a big platform together.
Team India Quartz will paint from inspiration around Eskisehir during the symposium. A cross-cultural exchange of ideas and new exposure to a global network will be really promising.
Quartz collective artists are preparing extremely well for their well-deserved opportunity. This prestigious participation will elevate the status of the artists and also a sense of pride in representing their India amidst esteemed artists of the world.
Ritu Singh Panday
Ritu Singh Panday is a visual artist from New Delhi, India. Her work projects her love for geographical textures, elements of nature and their impact on human life. Her works are in abstraction and are figurative both, and her forte is mixed media. She has travelled globally for exhibitions and symposiums. She is the founder of Quartz Collective, a women artists’ platform.
Ritu Aggarwal
Ritu Aggarwal is a visual artist from Delhi, India, whose multidisciplinary practice explores the relationship between architecture, memory and urban space through geometric abstraction. Her work has been exhibited widely in India and internationally and is held in public and private collections, including the Mark Rothko Art Centre, Latvia, and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. She is the project executive of the Quartz Collective group.
Shikha Gupta
Shikha Gupta is a visual artist from Delhi NCR with over a decade of artistic practice. She holds a diploma in fine arts from the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, and a master’s in art therapy and psychology. Working at the intersection of art, memory, and psychology, her practice explores memories, inheritance, identity, and lived experiences through layered, abstract forms. She is part of the Quartz collective.
Sujata Achrekar
She is a visual artist from Mumbai, India, and an active member of the Quartz collective group. She has a journey of three decades and more in painting human portraits and stories that correlate spirituality, faith and contemporary thought. Living in a metro, Sujata has amplified her brush-paint storytelling in high technical virtuosity through her perfect skill. She has numerous awards and accolades to her credit at national, state and international levels.
Shraddha Panday
Shraddha is a creative director at an advertising agency. She also creates content on social media under the alias @fryingpanday, commenting on pop culture through music and comedy. She is a mass communications graduate with a passion for cinema and visual arts. She is also the media manager for Quartz Collective, the women artists’ group.
Shilpa Patole
Shilpa Patole is a visual artist from Mumbai, India. With a Master’s in Fine Arts from J.J. School of Art with a distinction, she has had 8 solo shows and many group shows across India and internationally. The Busan International Art Fair in South Korea on three occasions has been her crowning achievement. She has several prestigious awards at national and state levels to her credit. Her work in abstraction is focused on knowledge, research, and calmness inspired by floating forms in nature. She is also part of the Quartz collective group.
Sanju Jain
Sanju Jain is a visual artist from Bhopal, India. Her work explores nature, water, memory, and the colours and textures of her surroundings. She works primarily in mixed media and watercolour, blending abstraction with poetic expression. Her journey of four decades in art has won her numerous accolades at national and international levels. She is a Quartz collective artist.
