Colours of Shadow: a group show by Manikarnika art gallery

Manikarnika Art Gallery, Jhansi, organized a two-day art exhibition titled “Color of Shadow” at the Artisan Gallery of Pyarelal Bhawan in New Delhi. This exhibition showcased the works of senior artists along with those of youth and children.

Viewing children’s art is always exciting. Their creations carry innocence, reflect the dreams they see, and express imaginations that may not yet be fully mature, but are deeply genuine. The same was evident in this exhibition.

The chief guests at the inauguration of the exhibition were senior artist M.K. Puri, Dr. Ved Prakash Bhardwaj, and Sunita Lamba. The exhibition featured both abstract and figurative works. Some artists also presented creations influenced by folk art traditions.

At the inauguration, the enthusiasm among the children was truly delightful. They were not only happy to see their artworks displayed on the gallery walls but were also eagerly explaining their creations to guests and visitors.

मणिकर्णिका आर्ट गैलरी, झांसी द्वारा नई दिल्ली के प्यारेलाल भवन की आर्टीजन गैलरी में कलर ऑफ शेडो शीर्षक से दो दिवसीय कला प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रदर्शनी में वरिष्ठ कलाकारों के साथ ही युवाओं और बच्चों की कला को भी प्रदर्शित किया गया।

बच्चों की कला को देखना हमेशा उत्साहित करता है। उनकी कला में मासूमियत होती है, उन सपनों की अभिव्यक्ति होती है जो वह देखते हैं, वह कल्पनाएं होती हैं जो भले ही परिपक्व न हों, पर सच्ची होती हैं। इस प्रदर्शनी में भी यही देखने को मिला। इस प्रदर्शनी के उद्घाटन पर मुख्य अतिथि थे वरिष्ठ कलाकार एमके पुरी, डॉ वेद प्रकाश भारद्वाज, और सुनीता लांबा।

प्रदर्शनी में कलाकारों ने अमूर्त और मूर्त, दोनों तरह की रचनाओं का प्रदर्शन किया। कुछ कलाकारों ने लोक कलाओं से प्रभावित रचनाएं भी प्रस्तुत कीं। प्रदर्शनी के उद्घाटन पर बच्चों में उत्साह देखने लायक था। वह अपनी रचनाओं को गैलरी में दीवारों पर देखकर आनंदित तो थे ही, अतिथियों और दर्शकों को अपनी कला के बारे में बता भी रहे थे। मणिकर्णिका आर्ट गैलरी की डायरेक्टर कलाकार कामिनी बघेल ने इस अवसर पर अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए प्रदर्शनी को सफल बनाने के लिए सभी कलाकारों का आभार व्यक्त किया।
